A non-profit organization, we are a group of passionate high school students who come together to learn, teach and apply science, engineering, and technology through robotics. In addition to community outreach, for more children to learn about and participate in Robotics, we participate in an annual FIRST robotics competition to apply all the knowledge and skills learned. Our goal is to inspire and motivate our community to be a part of the STEM field.
Our team has two main departments: Engineering and Business, which branch out into multiple sub-groups. The Engineering department consists of Mechanical, Electrical, and Programming, while the Business department contains Public Relations, Sponsors and Grants, and Operations.
On August 2, 2015, co-captains Kenneth Wah and William Loo founded Walnut Valley Robotics with the dream of creating a team that would foster creative minds from schools in the local areas. Ever since our team was created, we have worked hard to build an incredible team and robot. Each and every year, we strive to improve and achieve more as our members gain more knowledge of FRC and robotics in general.
