The public relations department is responsible for the management of the team's social media pages and the team's website. Their duties include posting updates, pictures, and videos. They also are responsible for the production of fundraising media and events.
Marketing is responsible for creating promotional materials for the team, other than social media posts. This includes the shirts, pins, 3D Gifts, and other materials that we use in outreach. They are also responsible for planning events, and managing our team's image and mission.
The operations department handles most of the internal logistics of the team. From carpooling to venues, to coordinating department action, they are always working to keep the team running. They are also responsible for procuring supplies, and managing resources for the team.
The CAD/Design team is responsible for working with the mechanical engineering department to create a preliminary design of the robot, in addition to maintaining CAD files to send to companies for grant proposals.
The mechanical engineering department works closely with the CAD/Design department to build the overall structure of the robot, including any additional parts necessary for competition or outreach events. During build season, the mechanical department works extensively on the robot to ensure maximum efficiency.
The programming department is responsible for creating the robot's software, including primary and secondary controls. They are also responsible for the software of different technology demos in outreach events.
The electrical department is responsible for the wiring of the computer systems of the robot and the testing of its electrical systems. Additionally, they are responsible for keeping all electrical wiring organized.
